This notice explains what personal information EVO Services collects through evosvc.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have.
Who we are
EVO Services is the data controller for the information described here. That means we decide why and how it is used.
EVO Services is a digital marketing and web development business based in Glasgow, Scotland. Email ahill@evosvc.com, phone 07766 720264. To add before launch: the legal status of the business (sole trader or limited company), the owner's name, a full trading address, and, once registered, the company number and VAT number.
What we collect and why
When you ask for a quote
The quote form asks for your name, email address, phone number, business name, what your business does, your location, your website address, your budget and timeline, and the answers you give about the work you need. We use this to prepare your quote and to talk to you about it.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have asked us for a price, and we need these details to give you one. If you would rather not use the form, call or email us instead.
When you become a client
We hold your contact details, the work we agree, and the figures shown in your dashboard, such as website visitors, calls, enquiries, reviews, rankings and money taken online. Our lawful basis is performance of a contract. We also keep records we are required to keep for tax, which is a legal obligation.
When you log in to your dashboard
Logins are handled by Google Firebase Authentication. It stores your email address and a password that is encrypted so that nobody, including us, can read it. We can see your email address and when you last signed in.
When you email or call us
We keep the correspondence so we have a record of what was agreed.
Technical information
Our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP addresses when a page is requested, which is used to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your information and we do not add you to marketing lists without asking. We do use these service providers, who act on our instructions:

Where information is handled outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards in those providers' data processing terms, which include the UK addendum to the standard contractual clauses. We may also share information when the law requires it, for example with HMRC or in response to a court order.
How long we keep it
- Quote requests that do not become work: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client records: for as long as you are a client, then 6 years, because tax rules require us to keep business records.
- Dashboard figures: while you are a client and for 12 months afterwards, so you can still get a copy.
- Emails: normally 24 months unless they relate to work we did for you.
Cookies and storage on your device
This website sets no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. It stores only the following on your device, and you can clear all of it at any time by clearing site data in your browser.

Because none of this is used for advertising or tracking, and the sign-in storage is needed for a service you have asked for, we do not show a cookie pop-up. The saved quote answers are your choice, which is why the box is not ticked for you.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete information where we no longer need it;
- stop or limit how we use it, including objecting to our legitimate interests;
- send your information to another provider where that applies;
- withdraw any consent you have given, at any time.

Complaints
If something has gone wrong, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator for data protection: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or 0303 123 1113.
Children
This website is for businesses and is not aimed at children.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
