These terms cover the services EVO Services provides and the use of this website. Please read them before accepting a proposal.
About us
EVO Services is a digital marketing and web development business based in Glasgow, Scotland. Email ahill@evosvc.com, phone 07766 720264. To add before launch: the legal status of the business (sole trader or limited company), the owner's name, a full trading address, and, once registered, the company number and VAT number.
In these terms, "we" and "us" mean EVO Services, and "you" means the business or person we are working for.
Quotes and proposals
Prices on this website are guides only. A quote becomes a firm price when we send you a written proposal. Unless the proposal says otherwise, it is open for 30 days. Nothing is agreed until you accept the proposal in writing, by email or by paying the first invoice.
No VAT is charged at present. Update this line if the business becomes VAT registered.
The services
We provide search engine optimisation, website design and build, NFC review cards and menus, and wider digital marketing. What is included in your case is set out in your proposal. Anything not listed there is extra work, which we will quote for separately before starting.
Third party costs are not included unless your proposal says so. These can include domain names, hosting, email, stock photography, advertising budgets, and payment processing fees charged by Stripe or similar providers.
What we can and cannot promise with SEO
Search engines decide their own results, and no agency controls them. We can promise the work described in your plan, carried out to a professional standard and reported to you honestly. We cannot promise a particular position in Google, a particular amount of traffic, or a particular level of sales, and you should be careful of anyone who does.
Figures shown on this website are examples, not forecasts of your results.
Monthly plans, payment and cancelling
- SEO plans run for a minimum of 3 months, because results take time to build, and then continue month to month.
- After the minimum term either of us can end the plan with 30 days' notice in writing.
- Monthly plans are invoiced in advance. Project work is invoiced as set out in your proposal, usually part at the start and the balance on completion.
- To confirm: how many days clients have to pay an invoice, and whether late payment interest applies.
- If an invoice is unpaid we may pause work after telling you.
NFC cards and other goods
Goods are made to order where they carry your branding. We will confirm the design with you before production. If an item arrives faulty or not as described, tell us within 14 days and we will replace it or refund it.
If you are buying as a consumer rather than for a business, you normally have 14 days to change your mind about goods bought at a distance, except for items personalised or made to your specification. Your legal rights are not affected by these terms.
Your part
- Give us the access we need, such as your website, hosting and Google Business Profile.
- Provide text, images and approvals reasonably promptly, so timings can be met.
- Make sure you own, or have permission to use, anything you give us to publish.
- Tell us if anything in your business changes that affects the work, such as opening hours, locations or services.
Who owns what
You own the content you give us. Once you have paid in full, you own the website, designs and written content we produce for you. We keep ownership of anything we built before working with you, and of our own tools and templates, and we grant you a licence to use them as part of your website.
We may mention your business and show the work as an example of what we do. Tell us if you would rather we did not, and we will not.
Liability
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
Otherwise, our total liability in connection with the services is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months before the problem arose. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or other indirect losses. We are not responsible for the actions of third parties such as Google, Stripe, hosting companies or payment providers.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction. If something goes wrong we would much rather sort it out with a phone call, so please contact us first.
Using this website
We keep the information on this website as accurate as we can, but it is general information rather than advice for your situation. Prices, plans and inclusions can change. Where we link to other websites we are not responsible for their content.

Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this website, and we aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
- The site works with a keyboard alone, including the quote form.
- Text and controls are tested for colour contrast, in both light and dark mode.
- Form fields have visible labels, and errors are explained in words next to the field.
- Animation is reduced automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Charts in the client dashboard also show their figures as a table.
